Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R11KX96WN3CSR4 The calendar is a fun way to stop and think about each day. It helps me to conciously think about the day's date, otherwise, I'll forget what date is and be so surprised that it's already the 20th or whatever the date may be that day.
The numbers are slightly different on the two blocks. You don't need two 7's for example, but you do have to shift the number blocks around sometimes to get the right combination for the day.
It's been a fun calendar for the family.

I like this lovely wood calendar set. I was longing to bug one. However hard to choose a favoriate. I like this vintage set as it looks like that I have keep it for a long time. Several years later, it will remain the same status, i think.
The only problem is that sometimes I forget to turn the wood blocks.......

I ordered this product twice. Both times I received the same exact number block twice. So it was not possible for me to make all the dates with them. Two thumbs down!

My entire family loves this vintage perpetual calendar! It is part of our morning routine. My 3 year old always tries to be the first to change the date, and I appreciate and extra opportunity for her to practice her numbers!
It is a unique, classy approach to a daily calendar.
It has a vintage or Americana look to it, but really, being simple and black,it goes with any style. The month block sits on the bottom, and the dates rest on top. The blocks are made of wood, and the casing is wood and iron.
Overall, a fun and classic calendar that is never outdated.
