Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1YDO7Z17I11WE The main reason I bought this set of flameless candles is for decoration and ambiance, but I have also used them as night lights. I sometimes even use them when I get up with a crying child in the night because it's easy to grab and offers a muted light.
Beyond that, the flickering glow is fairly realistic. Since it uses an LED light, it is safe, and it doesn't get hot. These candles have a timer for automatic shut-off. I wish the vanilla scent was a little stronger; you can only smell it up close. I do appreciate that they come with batteries, and the batteries last for quite a long time.
I have really enjoyed these candles for their look, safety, and have been surprised by their functionality.

These candles may be a touch pricey, but the actual quality is really nice.
They have a nice flicker effect, and the 5 hour timer is especially nice if you want to use it as a nightlight, or just place in a room without worries. It doesn't put out a ton of light, so I mostly use it for ambiance, but since you get three in a pack WITH batteries, it works out nicely.
Out of all the battery powered LED candles I've had, these are the nicest.

I got this set of candles as a gift and I love them!! I have them set on my stairs and they come on every night at the same time and look wonderful! You would never know they are not real! I wanted to get a couple more sets for my use and some as gifts and Costco had them for $15.00 but I believe they are now sold out. I am hoping they get more in 'cause these are terrific. The timer is a great feature and that is why I want to get more - I want to put them in my wall unit and some in second floor rooms. Great product! Can't say enough and if you can find them at Costco, get them!!

I got these candles as a gift for my young daughter who wanted candles for her bedroom. They are great because, of course, they are fameless and they smell great (Vanilla). The timer is nice because my daughter will leave them on while she goes to sleep, just to have a little light in her room. Awesome product. Would like to get some for myself.

I've tried out other flameless candles and haven't been all that "fired" up, but this set is rather realistic. The automatic timer is a great added benefit too.
