Good protectionAug 31, 2010 The Sansa Fuze 3-in-1 Kit includes a travel case, sleeve for the player, and armband; I have only used the first two.
The sleeve does fit rather closely, and restricts access to the data/charging port on the bottom (take the sleeve off to connect). Access to the switch and/or headphone jack is not a problem.
The case provides good protection for the unit and, for me, has sufficient room for earbuds inside. I imagine that if one had larger aftermarket earbuds, the fit might be very tight.
For the price, this is a good product.
Not bad at all for the priceAug 14, 2010 I wanted an MP3 player for use while working out or just listening to tunes while waiting for appointments, but I didn't want to spend the money on an ipod.
My wife got me this Fuze and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised how good a product it is. Let me explain why.
First, it has expandable memory via SD micro cards which are getting increasingly cheaper and holding more and more data. It has 4GB of internal memory to begin with but now I have an 8Gig card in it so I'm up to 12GB. That is a lot of songs.
Second, this thing will play videos if you format them properly. The Media converter that is free to download from Sansa makes that easy. I run Linux and there is even packages available for that too if you are a Linux user. The screen is of course, small. Too small for comfortable viewing of a movie perhaps, but very adequate for watching short videos for reference. In my case, those are exercise demonstrations for the specific bodyweight workouts I'm currently using. You can also store pictures on this device although, again, the screen is too small for real detailed viewing.
Third, this device has a GREAT voice recorder. It is very powerful with respect to picking up conversation from both sides. Handy, as it doesn't look like a voice recorder and there for attract unwanted attention.
As for ease of use, the Fuze has easy to use controls, not unlike the ipod although they are rubber coated, not smooth. They are very sensitive yet tactile enough to be easy to manipulate. The menus are fairly intuitive and the only negative might be that you may have to go "back" several screens at times to go to a previous menu. Not overly difficult so I would call that criticism a "nitpick."
The device holds a charge quite well. You can charge it with your computer or use available wall and/or car chargers (not included).
Overall, considering the price of the Fuze is a LOT less than the ipod and it has expandable memory. I would recommend this product.
Great product!Jul 22, 2010 I puchesed this prior to traveling to Atlanta. This kept my Fuze and headphones safe and together with no problems. The slot on the bottom of the sleeve allowed the charger to connect with no problems. The travel case is sturdy and easily holds the headphones and Fuze safely and securely.
Great Travel CaseJul 05, 2010 Hard case protects your mp3 even if you pack like a 14 year-old boy! Nothing will get cracked or broken in this, plus it's small enough to stuff into your pocket! Little mesh pouch on the inside keeps your slot cards or earbuds safe and sound instead of loose and tangled. Glad I bought it since I tend to be one of those who packs like... my son! :) Love you honey!
Ehh ok!Jun 24, 2010 Was not liking how the veclro for the arm strap is crap. No way you are jogging or riding a bike, let alone a motorcycle like I was hoping to accomplish. Verdict the case protects but the arm band is for crap. The velcro is too small to hold the devices weight.
