Great Case for iPod TouchJul 12, 2008
By TW I purchased an iPod Touch last year but didn't purchase a case for it because the cases (rubber, silicon, etc.) all seemed to cheapen the look of the iPod Touch.
I also didn't want a case that had a "protective" screen over the touch screen because they don't work as well, and get bubbles and dust in them.
When I saw this leather case, I knew it was the right one. It helps to enhance the look of the iPod. The leather feel is great, and it doesn't have the plastic "protector" screen that I wanted to avoid.
The case helps protect the iPod when traveling, putting it in your pocket, etc. The iPod can be removed from the case if necessary.
The wireless works fine while the iPod is in the case, and the connectors (headphone jack, apple connector jack, and the other buttons can be easily reached.
Being able to put business cards in the side pocket is nice, and the closing strap attaches to the other side with a small magnetic clip which is also a nice touch.
The only drawback is that the leather edging does come rather close to the "home" button. It doesn't cover it, but it takes a little getting used to. Other than that, it's a great case.

Love this case!Oct 07, 2008

This is the second case I have gotten for my ipod touch. The first was a Belkin folio. I use my ipod touch for grad school and will be using it in patient care situations ( I am a nurse practitioner student). This case is very professional. The case holds the ipod securely, does not cover up any of the keys and my ipod does not slip out (these are problems I had with the Belkin case). Very wise investment!

Right thereeeeApr 25, 2009
By Howlin The reason i bought this case was to save some space in my pockets and this item did this very well. I use to leave the house with my itouch w/other leather case, wallet, and voyager it just took too space in my pockets. This would be the perfect choice if u wanted to carry two diffrent items in the space of one over all great. Minor gliches: money barely fits and same with license.

Your wife might not like it.Mar 03, 2010
By Paul F I bought this for my wife, with her approval of the style, as seen on the Amazon product page. In my opinion, it's OK for $15, but I think you should be allowed to expect better quality at that price. The problem in particular: the top edge over the screen area is not straight. The "slant" is notably visible when you compare it to the iPod's screen area. You can't push around the iPod to straighten out the relative error, because the iPod fits snugly. And now that I'm nitpicking, the latch isn't straight (squared?) either. This may be no big deal to many, but it was bothersome to my wife, and for me, that makes it a loser, because now she wants to go to a real Apple store to look at cases. I understand. Three stars for otherwise overall appearance, stitch-work, and quality of leather. (Would have been 4 if all the angles were right, geometrically speaking or if she didn't mind that they aren't.)

Probably deserves 5 stars...Dec 31, 2009
By J. Austin ... but I took back a point for an issue that perhaps cannot even be fixed. Due to the design, it is difficult to "touch" the very edges of the iPod Touch's screen -- for gaming and other purposes. It is not impossible, but difficult. This is similar to the complaint about the home button being difficult to access, but I'm not bothered as much by that. Of course, it is possible that niether of these issues could be addressed and still have a design that holds the iPod Touch as securely. And this is VERY secure protection for your iPod investment.
Otherwise, I love this case. A feature that I have not seen mentioned is the fact that you can also use the magnetic closure strap to hold the case open -- just fold both the cover and the strap back underneath the case, and let the magnetic catch do its job. MARVELOUS!
