Excellent, no more to say.Jun 24, 2009 I bought two of those some weeks back for the half-dome round-trip hike at Yosemite. I assumed that one 2-liter pack wasn't enough to get me through.
Pros:
1. Once I expanded one of the bags, I could stack 9 half-liter bottles in addition to the water pack. I could fit in more on the sides and the water was enough for the entire day trip! Other stuff like my wallet, phone, ipod/earphones, keys fit in too. I did not need to unwrap the other pack and am keeping that as a great gift for someone close.
2. I use this for biking now and then: 8 - 20 miles => around 4 liters of water that keeps the pack light enough and comfy.
3. T. Wheatley's video (thank you!) helped me discover all the non-obvious, nifty features of this bag : Anti-microbial, multi-pocket-usage, high-capacity, low price (within 50$ as compared to known brands like camelbak), AirFlow etc. etc.
Cons:
None as of now.
sports momJul 09, 2008 I bought t his item for my husband for fathers day and I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the item. It has many store places for your keys, cell phone, mp3 or cd player and room for more. It is great for hiking, biking, running. Great item at a great price
my favorite bladder openingJul 03, 2008 You can see all of the details in the video review but I use this thing regularly for canyoneering and it takes some serious abuse, holds what I need for a day and is super easy to clean.
I'm afraid high sierra has changed their bladder design to accommodate water filters but I think it is a shame. This bladder with the fold closure is ten times easier to clean that our other hydration bladders.
If it's hot, the airflow system isn't going to keep you from having a large wet sweat spot on your back but it also seems to help keep the water cooler compared to some other bags. There is a holster for the bite valve that my husband loves, but I find that I will leave the hose loose if we're at the end of a serious hike as I can't spare the extra energy to mess with it. It isn't hard to use, but I find it unnecessary on hikes. While the bag is bumping around in the car, I think it's great because I know it won't get really dirty on the way to a hike.

Great Hydrapack - Anti-microbial is a plusJun 03, 2008 Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2VR9ZIPXG9ESX Great pack. I love the fact that the water bag is anti-microbial. The holder for the mouthpiece is great too. It's not as bulky as other bags I've seen. You can't pack tons of stuff in the pack when the bag is full of water, but you can get supplies in the small pouches just fine.
